I really liked the 2018 vintage. Beautiful complexity of red fruits, dark chocolate, pepper and a hint of forest aromas. Perfect with steak.

Nice surprise and excellent winemaking
Nice explosion of red fruits and not too much bitterness for a 2020 tasted in 2023, as I've noted in other reviews.
This makes me want to taste other wines from the same estate, but above all to make a detour to judge on the spot at the winery.
The Internet allows us to make wonderful discoveries, but nothing can replace direct dialogue with the winemaker.

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Château des Coccinelles and its 9 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
