The History of Domaine Brusset

Domaine Brusset was founded by André Brusset in 1947, when he made the decision to leave the local cooperative to develop his own wine production. He started with the exploitation of his 7 hectare vineyard, but worked continuously to expand it. In 1997, two years before André's death (1910-1999), the Domaine Brusset represented 47 hectares. Today, the vineyard reaches 70 hectares.

André Brusset also knew how to modernize his operation over the years. He has thus passed on an efficient estate, as well as his know-how to his son, Daniel, and his grandson, Laurent.

Laurent represents the third generation to watch over the Domaine Brusset. He has recently invested in modernizing the winery to make it easier to work in the cellar.

The Domaine Brusset vineyard covers 70 hectares, within the vineyards of the southern Côtes du Rhône, in Cairanne.
