The winemaker

Domaine Cécile Chassagne, with a surface area of 1.60 hectares, was created in 1998. It is located in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail, on terraces of clay-limestone soil at the top of a hill called "Le Pourra", at an altitude of around 500 meters. The vines were planted by his father Jean-Claude Chassagne in 1970. The vineyard is planted with Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the vinification process is traditional, using whole grapes.
