The winemaker

Gerard Constant, passionate wine for over 20 years and embodies an old dream, that of becoming owner-grower, with his wife Denise Duquesnoy. His varied career and his general management responsibilities have never turned away from this ambitious goal. His trips abroad allowed him to visit many vineyards in Europe (France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Czech Republic) and North America (USA and Canada). His wine training included theoretical training at the Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse and internships especially in Burgundy. He also made many, many interviews with winemakers recognized in their respective regions: Alsace, Champagne, Burgundy and Côtes du Rhône to identify common and most promising names in view of the changing climate. Gerard and Denise Constant Duquesnoy up in early 2004, their estate by acquiring the vineyard of Domaine vinsobrais "The Aussellons" considered by Parker * as one of the three best properties in Vinsobres.
