The winemaker

Located on the Rhone Chateauneuf town in the Drôme Provençale, operation belongs to the Ferrotin family for many generations (the sixteenth century). Following the phylloxera crisis in the 1900s, mixed farming to largely replaced the vineyard and the vintage has not been vinified on the farm. It was not until early 2000 that Jean Claude passionate wine revinifier decided on operations since 2011 accompanied by his son Rémi. At the varieties we use the Grenache Syrah and Mourvèdre to develop our red, Roussanne and Viognier for the whites and Grenache and Syrah mainly for rosé. In terms of culture, we reasoned struggle to the plot and we enherbons our vines to prevent erosion and to densify the biodiversity on the farm.
