The winemaker

The legend tells us that a rich lord of Ampuis had two daughters. One was wearing the day and one night. Each of them received a dowry a hill planted with vines. Since that time, they bear the name, a blonde Coast, the other brown Coast. Established since 1807 on the board of Ampuis, between Condrieu and Lyon, Gallet estate is now run by the sixth generation of winemakers composed of Henri Philippe, Maria Theresa, Elizabeth and Valerie. The grapes are picked by hand and then the wine is left to age for 2 years in oak barrels. Gallet The area offers Côte Rôtie wines on places called Launch, and Combard Chavaroche. But whether with their traditional Cotes du Rhone or with their best bottles, the Gallet field always brings the same care and the same attention in the vineyard and in the winery, to present the wines of supreme quality for wines natural and genuine.
