The winemaker

Domaine Jocelyne & Yves Lafoy was created in 1993, a difficult and rainy year in which Yves showed all his talent as a winemaker. Gaëtan, Yves and Jocelyne's eldest son, joined his parents on the estate in 2011, after various travel and professional experiences. His first vintage, in 2012, was one of patience and vigilance, due to poor weather conditions. But his efforts paid off, and the return of fine weather at the end of the summer enabled him to harvest a quality crop. This vintage, combining the experience of the father and the youth of the son, is a great success. Yves and Gaëtan like elegant, fine, complex wines that express their terroir. Their vines are worked with respect for the soil, creating wines they'd love to share.
