The winemaker

13 grape varieties are grown at Domaine la Barroche, with Grenache taking pride of place. Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Syrah and Clairette blanche are the other most popular grape varieties. Lesser-known grape varieties are also represented: Picpoul and Terret. The estate's terroirs are largely composed of sandy soils. Each wine made at Domaine la Barroche has a unique identity that reflects the plot from which it comes. The wines produced are complex yet homogeneous.
