The winemaker

In 1942, my grandfather Paul was exclusively involved in market gardening: zucchinis, tomatoes, eggplants, melons... When Robert took over the farm, he immediately diversified into viticulture while keeping the market gardening activity. Since 1998, he has specialized in strawberries and has contributed to the qualitative evolution of the vineyard. In 2002, Jérémy pursued this dynamic by creating a cellar to vinify all the estate's wines, and a tasting room that reflects the spirit of the estate. Mourvèdre and, above all, white grape varieties are planted. At the same time, strawberry cultivation is modernized with the construction of a multichapelle greenhouse. After a period of soul-searching, the winery underwent a major overhaul this winter, with the addition of a barrel cellar and a convivial tasting room to recapture the spirit of the estate. After some scientific wandering, my passion for nature and Provence won out. I became a winemaker, a profession that suits me because it's passionate in every way. I look after the vines with all the respect they deserve to give the best of themselves. For me, converting to organic farming is just an administrative process... the principles of respect for nature, the environment and the people who make it up didn't just appear to me on a summer's evening, but are a matter of logic to me. Since I took over the estate, the work and improvements have been in line with my ideas, which are those of organic farming. The time for serenity has arrived, with the maturity that comes with experience.
