The winemaker

Succeeding four generations of winegrowers, Vincent Rochette created Domaine Roche-Audran in 1998. The winery stands proudly in a wooded, unspoilt setting at the foot of the Buisson vineyard, on land cultivated by our family for five generations. Our vines, ranging in age from 35 to a hundred years, are spread over three very different terroirs: * Buisson, * Châteauneuf du Pape * Visan. Out of respect for mankind, for our health, for the natural character of our vineyards and to encourage the purest expression of these fabulous terroirs through our wines, we use only natural products. This approach enables us to maintain soil fertility and protect our wines and the surrounding environment. With this in mind, we introduced the first Biodynamic spraying in 2006. All our work in the vineyard and winery now follows cosmic rhythms. The diversity of the surrounding natural vegetation, the cultivation of olive trees and lavender, the production of honey, as well as the presence of horses in our vineyards during the winter period, all bring additional energy and contribute to the harmony of the place.
