This family is an integral part of the French wine world. They produce wines for some of the most fabulous châteaux, estates and houses in the world. About the Perrin Family


The Perrin family has been using its know-how and talent for five generations. It is currently one of the largest owners of organic vineyards in the Rhône Valley. This is thanks to their values: their respect for the land, their commitment to artisanal viticulture, and their conviction that organic wine best expresses the taste of the terroir. "The combination of talents within the same family ensures the continuity of a unique know-how."

The Château de Beaucastel and its owners


Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as among the country's finest wines. It is also widely recognized for its balance, elegance and ageing potential. Jean-Pierre and François Perrin are the owners. They founded the company some years ago, developing it mainly on the foreign market. It quickly grew to a sizeable operation.

Indeed, nearly 4 million bottles a year. Most of their wines are produced under the "Perrin" brand. And others, like the original Côte-du-Ventoux, under the La Vieille Ferme name. Their impeccable production offers a wide, accessible and consistent range, with simply designed labels.

The expertise of the Perrin family


The Perrin family's know-how has made them true pioneers in organic and biodynamic farming. This has enabled them to give life to a large number of crus, which have subsequently become benchmarks in their appellations: Domaine du Clos des Tourelles in Gigondas, the wines of Nicolas Perrin, notably his excellent Côte Rôtie, the whites and rosés of Miraval, the famous estate of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The growth of the Perrin family's estates has taken place internationally, pushing sales quite rapidly to over 4 million bottles sold per year. The family's production is nothing short of incredible, offering a wide range of wines at affordable prices. All with superior wine quality.

The Perrin sons, now helped by their seven children, have built a veritable global export business empire. In total, the family manages almost 300 hectares. Between vineyards and purchased grapes, this makes it the largest property in the region. Even though the Perrin family favors tradition at Beaucastel, it has never stopped moving, expanding and innovating elsewhere in the world.
