Ferme du Mont is a young estate in the Rhône Valley. La Ferme du Mont is geographically diversified into several parcels producing wines of different appellations. Located in Valréas, in the heart of the Enclave de Papes in the Vaucluse region, Domaine de la Ferme du Mont was created in 2007 by Stéphane Védeau. Characteristics of Ferme du Mont's terroir and vineyard


Ferme du Mont belongs to the Rhône Valley vineyards. It is the second largest PDO vineyard in France. Ferme du Mont makes its wines in the largest part of the vineyard, the southern part of the Côtes-du-Rhône. The estate covers some 50 hectares in the Vaucluse region. Ferme du Mont's terroir expresses itself primarily in reds.

The wines of the Ferme du Mont estate


Ferme du Mont produces Côtes-du-Rhône (red, white), Côtes du Rhône Villages (red), Vacqueyras (red), Châteauneuf du Pape (red, white) and Gigondas (red) appellation wines. Côtes-du-Rhône Villages are superior in quality to Côtes-du-Rhône. Gigondas red wines, made from Grenache and Syrah grapes such as Jugunda, are spicy and warm. Vacqueyras red wines, such as Le Rif, made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes, are very fruity and aromatic.
