The winemaker

The vineyard was created by Joanny Dupond, son of Antoine in 1880 in the northern region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It was a good opportunity to expand the range of family domains. Originally the property was covered with oaks and scrub with a clay and limestone soil and pebbles. By dint of hard work, Vine supplanted oak and scrub. Thanks to this terroir, these wines are authentic witness of this region. A few generations later The Renjardière wins the finest breweries and wineries. Hervé Smith was able to develop close partnerships with winemakers craftsmen; Each year it selects the best sources for high quality Renjardière.
