The winemaker

The vineyard was created by Joanny Dupond, son of Antoine in 1880 in the northern region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It was a good opportunity to broaden the range of family Domaines. Originally, the property was covered in oak and garrigue, with clay-limestone soil and round pebbles. With hard work, the vines replaced the oak and garrigue. Thanks to this terroir, these wines are an authentic testimony to the region. A few generations later, La Renjardière has established itself in the finest brasseries and cellars. Hervé Dupond has developed privileged partnerships with artisan winemakers; each year he selects the best origins to produce a top-quality Renjardière.
