The winemaker

Dauvergne Ranvier is the combination of two lovers who, after a rich experience in large wine companies, decided to create their own wines. When asked what are his roots, François Dauvergne often answers "my roots are half in Bordeaux, where I spent my youth, and half the land of Saint-Polycarpe, near Limoux, where my family had a vineyard. "Its branches have, in turn, pushed into the Rhône Valley where he moved here 15 years to begin his wine career. Child, Jean-François Ranvier has more than once ignited his parents. Indeed, when they were guests at a friend of the family, little Jean-François could not stop to smell the smells of home and detail aloud ... whatever the quality of the menu. Passionate about geology, he finally chooses the wine after winning an agricultural engineer degree. After managing a laboratory oenology consulting he took charge of winemaking in a large house in the Rhone Valley. There he met François Dauvergne with which he starts working. In 2004 Ranvier Dauvergne and resign together to achieve their dream of creating their own wines and make their home one of the most recognized of the Rhone Valley.
