The winemaker

A privileged geographical location and exceptional terroirs


Marrenon's location is unique, in the heart of the Luberon National Park, close to the Ventoux and Rhône rivers. The vineyard benefits from singular climatic and geological conditions, with limestone hillsides, gentle slopes, a wide variety of soils and plenty of sunshine, but its impact is moderated by altitude and cold air currents from the Alps.

These factors provide favorable thermal amplitudes for the vines. These characteristics are ideal for the dominant grape varieties on the estate: Syrah, Grenache and Vermentino.

Environmentally-friendly practices


The practices implemented at Marrenon are guided by the constant quest for quality and the desire to preserve the terroirs. Innovative processes are used to complement traditional practices. Each parcel is worked in a specific way, while the overall coherence of Marrenon is ensured by the work of Philippe Tolleret. This meticulous and rigorous work has been rewarded with several labels.

Wines of incomparable style


Under the Marrenon brand, we find fresh, elegant or powerful wines, exceptional cuvées and cuvées plaisir. Petula is a powerful, fresh rosé, with a beautiful pale, slightly purplish color. The palate is greedy, juicy and tangy. Aromas of red berries, maras de bois and passion fruit.

The red Cuvée Orca, in AOC Ventoux, is a cuvée made with a strong predominance of old Grenache vines and only 10% Syrah. It's a wine that's both powerful and fine, with aromas of ripe fruit, morello cherries, blond tobacco and spices. This is a superb cuvée, with fine ageing potential, and it's even better if decanted before tasting.

Le Grand Marrenon, rouge en AOC Luberon is a rich, silky wine made from Syrah and Grenache noir, with a beautiful, intense ruby-violet color. The palate is soft and greedy, with aromas of fresh fruit. This cuvée has won multiple awards.

Gardarem rouge is Marrenon's iconic cuvée, made from Syrah and Grenache grapes benefiting from exceptional terroirs. The cuvée has magnificent ageing potential.

Amountanage is an organic label wine. For this cuvée, harvesting is done at night, to preserve the freshness of the grapes. It's a fresh, unctuous wine, with aromas of red fruits, blackcurrants, blackberries, cherries, but above all strawberries.

La cuvée M Sparkling rosé is made from Grenache noir grapes. It's a wine with a salmon-pink color and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is complex, first exhaling aromas of white peach, red fruit and citrus, then peony and rose notes take over. An assertive wine with great charm.
