The winemaker

The Chaussy-Laget family is now represented by Quentin, Joris and Arnaud, the 6th generation of winemakers. They joined fifth-generation Christine and Daniel (sister and brother) in 2016. The estate is located in the commune of Orange, in the Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation area, bordered by the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation area. The 2 oak trees symbolize the geographical delimitation between the 2 appellation areas. Today, the vineyard covers 34 hectares and has been biodynamically farmed since 2021. (Certified organic in 2009). The Chaussy-Laget family is independent from vine to bottle.
