The History and Philosophy of Maison Francois-Xavier Nicolas

Located in southern Rhône Valley, the House of François-Xavier Nicolas seeks to democratize wine, to make it less intimidating without taking away from its complex history. With their « friends wines », they make it possible to discover all the terroirs of the Rhône and Provence in an easy and accessible way: from the Côtes-du-Rhône to the famous Gigondas, or Cairanne. The wines of François-Xavier Nicolas are known to be among the best value for money in the region.

The Vineyard

Its cuvée "Petit Beaumont" highlights the terroir of the Alpilles, a small mountain range in Provence still little-known land, considered the "little brother of the Rhone." On this particular terroir, winegrowers can unleash their creativity, as they might not necessarily be in the AOC of the Rhône Valley.

The Winery

The house of François-Xavier Nicolas likes these new challenges, as it also offers a Pinot Noir from the Rhône Valley, vinified organically. The result is stunning in its delicacy and finesse.
