The winemaker
The Domaine de Lastronques: terroir wines
The vineyard lies to the south of the Toulouse plain. The terroir is composed of rock and clay-limestone soil. The vines are planted at an altitude of 350 meters, in the Pyrenean Piedmont. The temperature variations generated in autumn by the surrounding mountains ensure perfect ripening of the grapes.
The wines of Domaine de Lastronques
The red, rosé and white wines produced at Domaine de Lastronques reflect the distinctive terroir of the Pyrenean Piedmont. Various grape varieties are used to produce Ariège PGI wines: Cabernet sauvignon, Tannat, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon gris. Manciannes is one of Ariège's finest wines.
