At the crossroads between Gers, Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées Atlantiques, the vineyards of Madiran is one of the oldest vineyards in France. His fame was already acquired by the pilgrims of Saint Jacques de Compostela traveling the path of Puy-en-Velay.
