In a few words ...
Our cuvée Sélection becomes Opus, meaning "work", to emphasize the house's construction style in hourdés pebbles, and to make a direct link with our stony soils rich in river pebbles. From our oldest vines of Loin de l'Oeil (70%) and Sauvignon (30%), this well-balanced selection of grapes provides the raw material for a deliberately limited cuvée. The selected must is "entonné" (put into barrels) in September, where it ferments and rests on its lees until late Spring. In this way, it acquires a body and fatness that encapsulate the aromas of lightly roasted dried fruit. A wine for great pleasure, it should be drunk within 3 years of bottling.
