Produced for the first time in 1985, this Madiran 100% Tannat shook up the world by outstripping the first great French wines in many tastings, bringing this local grape variety to the fore. Château Montus' Cuvée Prestige is made from a selection of the finest terroirs in the vineyard, and represents the very best that Tannat has to offer. It is almost entirely sold en primeur. Aged in new barrels for 14 to 16 months.
