The winemaker

Armagnac of Darbeau house combines, for three generations, said Sands "Griffon" of Gascony hillsides, their oaks and sunny autumns, the expertise of a family, forged over three generations and passed from father to son . Today, Jean-Christophe Darbeau perpetuating the family tradition; respecting the driving modes which ensure always been the quality of its Armagnac, and with a view to practice a reasoned culture, it manages an area of ​​40 hectares: 10 hectares of red (7 ha Merlot 1 ha Tannat, 1 ha Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah 1 ha); 30 ha and white (10 Colombard ha, ha Gros Manseng 6, 6 ha Sauvignon Blanc, 6 ha Ugni Blanc, Baco 1 ha and 1 ha Petit Manseng). Since 1996, it also produces wines of Côtes de Gascogne, red, rosé and white wines with fruity aromas.
