In a few words ...
Fine gold color. Expressive, harmonious nose with floral notes and hints of honey. On the palate, it is soft and sweet with finely integrated acidity. The vines are planted on the hilly, low-yielding soils of the island of Samos. During the harvest, only ripe, pleasant grapes are picked. The grapes are gently pressed. During fermentation, ethyl alcohol is added to the fermenting must to stop fermentation and preserve the natural sweetness. The must is clarified by centrifugation and cooling. This is followed by final maturation in stainless steel tanks. uwc samos is a cooperative created in 1934 to protect the interests of samos producers. Today, its members produce wines from around 16,000 hectares, which are exported worldwide. This organizational structure has enabled winegrowers to focus resolutely on quality by pooling their resources and making the necessary investments in vineyards, wineries and distribution.
