The winemaker

Wholesale restructuring work began as the former winemakers house of the 18th century they restore to the original while natural materials on the abandoned vineyards that the former owner rented to a tenant. The estate is located on a hillside, 450 m, and 3.5 km of the great wines of Barolo. The soil is composed of compact and tufa, rows are inserted grassing / tilled soil, cultivation is online and the tall vines pruned by the simple Guyot. In 2002 they replant 1.5 hectares of new vines, half with the Nebbiolo and the other half with Barbera. Current production is fully certified organic. The wines are vinified in stainless steel vats and then following the high wines 18 months in barrels, big barrels and casks. The different wines are then bottled with minimal addition of suffering if necessary for good conservation of wines for aging.
