Tuscan Asinone is vinified from 80% prugnolo gentile and 20% merlot. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, then refined for 8 months in bottle. The wine is ruby red with violet highlights. The bouquet is intense, with notes of plum and cocoa.
