Located in northern Italy, Trentino is a small but beautiful wine-growing region that stretches between Lake Garda and South Tyrol. The landscape is characterized by large forests, numerous glacial lakes and dolomites. Less steep slopes than in South Tyrol and a mild climate provide optimal conditions for viticulture. The blending of different grape varieties gives rise to quality wines. The aim of a cuvée is to strike an optimal balance between the individual characteristics of the grape varieties used: aroma, body and mouthfeel, fruitiness and acidity, alcohol, tannins and bitterness, and balance on the finish.
