The winemaker

The Zeni winery is located and operates in Bardolino, on the slopes of the morainic hills along the eastern shore of Lake Garda. It is here, in the heart of the vine-growing area of the homonymous Bardolino wine, that the carefully selected grapes, coming from the two private and long-term rental vineyards, are passed on. The Winery also buys selected plots of grapes from trusted local winegrowers with whom it has long-standing collaborations. Only the best grapes can give rise to wines with such distinctive character that are true expressions of a unique terroir. The meticulous care devoted to vine cultivation, grape passerillage and subsequent vinification is equally versed in the aging and refining of fine wines, as further evidenced by the realization of the superb underground barrel cellar. Constant improvement in both production processes and company management has made the winery fully eligible for UNI ISO 9001: 2000 quality certification. Enthusiastic commitment and constant dedication to the art of winemaking handed down from generation to generation still represent the principles of a consolidation plus century-old family tradition.
