In a few words ...
Our Aligoté is a vin de terroir, a parcel-by-parcel selection from a single plot of vines grown just a few hundred meters from our winery. This was the last parcel harvested by the House in September 2018. The hand-harvested grapes were perfectly ripe, with high acidity levels as befits this grape variety. After light pressing, fermentation began in vats, then the must was tapped to complete vinification in 2-, 3- and 4-year-old barrels. Short ageing lasted 4 months, on lees with regular stirring of the lees. Bottling was carried out early, after malolactic fermentation, to capture the wine's fresh, floral aromas.

Beautiful pale yellow color.

lovely, pure nose, expressive notes of nettle, freshly cut herbs, hints of lemon, tangerine, fruit basket.

Taste
Taut, chiselled, straightforward, extremely refreshing wine. Very fine attack on the palate, combining freshness and maturity, with flinty mineral notes and a barley-sugar finish.

Very round, fat, very well balanced with fruit notes, a little mineral but not too much. There's a hint of barrel, but it's not too dominant, making this wine complex and endearing. An excellent wine!
