Formerly domaine morel-thibaut, an association of two winemakers that operated for 24 years in the heart of the Jura vineyards, in poligny. In 2014, the company split in two and Valentin Morel took over from his father Jean-Luc. Not content with simply changing the estate's name, he has effectively modified the image and personality of the cuvées in just a few vintages. The six hectares of vines are farmed organically, with a strong emphasis on biodynamic viticulture and soil conservation techniques. Anchored in the family's various plots (in the trouillots and saint-savin sectors), the young winemaker intuitively balances Jura tradition (savagnin sous voile, remarkable poulsard and trousseau, superb macvins) with original proposals (macerated whites, cuvée from resistant grape varieties...). Domaine les pieds sur terre's Les Trouillots cuvée comes from Pinot Noir vines over 35 years old, planted on the Les Trouillots terroir of decalcification clay. Whole-cluster maceration in stainless steel tanks for 15 days. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and barrels. Sulfite-free
