A taut, chiselled wine, a magnificent introduction to the great Chardonnays of Burgundy, Domaine de la Garenne's Macon-Aze is a magnificent mealtime wine offering outstanding value for money. the 2021 vintage suffered from reduced production volumes. It is nonetheless a very fine vintage. A beautiful sparkling color with golden highlights, a lemony, floral nose, and a lively, full-bodied palate underscored by fine minerality. 100% chardonnay vines planted in 1986, the highest in the commune of azé. South-east exposure on a limestone hillside. Excellent sun exposure.

Appearance
Pale yellow with green highlights. Clear and brilliant.
Aroma
The nose is discreet, developing aromas of white pepper, ivy leaf and white peach. It has a fine mineral expression.

Taste
On the palate, the wine is fresh, crisp and minty, with a beautiful minerality (notes of flint). Chiseled, with hints of iodine. Long finish.
