Vineyard area: 2.5 ha Côtes du Rhône Blanc is made from Viognier grapes. It expresses itself on a light, filtering, poor and warm terroir. Rolled pebbles give it its minerality. Age of vines: 22 years Grape varieties: 100% Viognier The Viognier grapes are 100% destemmed, chilled at low temperature for 24 hours before vatting, then racked and fermented in vats for 30 days. 10% of the volume is vinified in barrels to bring structure to the wine without marking it. Blending takes place in January, followed by bottling in February. Estate bottling This wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with an entire meal. It goes well with foie gras, raclette, fish in sauce, mussels marinière and fruit salad. Hand-harvested Serving temperature : 13 °C Cellaring potential : 8 years

A very good white Rhone! pleasant as an aperitif, or to accompany a meal up to and including cheese (goat's cheese, hard cheese...).

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine du Bois de Saint Jean and its 9 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
