Domaine laroque d’antan - néphèle - claude et lydia bourguignon 2018le domaine laroque d’antan is located à laroque des arcs, in the cahors terroir. It is owned by claude and lydia bourguignon. Claude bourguignon is a French agricultural engineer and former research assistant at inra, while lydia bourguignon was a science teacher. Together, they founded the Laboratoire d'Analyse Microbiologique des Soils (LAMS), an agronomic consultancy that sells its services mainly to winegrowers. After more than 30 years travelling the world, they decided to plant their own vineyard. They chose a hillside that had been abandoned for 140 years, with its biodiversity intact, and left it fallow with hedges and trees. In the midst of the brambles, they found three small winegrowers' houses, a caselle, a mule shed and a well still filled with water. After soil analyses, they delimited the areas for white and red wines, with a view to restoring the honor of the forgotten wines of this southwestern region. All attention is paid to the vines, and the grapes are harvested by hand in crates transported by scarecrow.Emmanuel (their son) vinifies and leaches these grapes without artificial additives, using indigenous yeasts to preserve the spirit of the place where the vines grew. Biodynamic agriculture certification is planned for 2020.cépages: not communicated; for this vintage
