The winemaker

Kevin Judd is one of the pioneer winemakers of the region who participated in the renowned wines of New Zealand. In 2009, he created his own area he calls Greywacke, according to the bedrock (sandstone) found in mass near the Wairau River and the surrounding vineyards. Kevin develops fine and complex wines made from Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay or Pinot Black, which are among the best in the country. His vintage 'signature' is the Wild Sauvignon; fermented in old barrels with indigenous yeasts, it is a complex wine with a dense texture and a long and tasty finish
