This vineyard has won over generations of fine wine lovers since Roman times, and with good reason: its location overlooking the Rhone Valley benefits from a steeply sloping terrain. These extreme conditions, combined with exposure to winds such as the Mistral, place great demands on the vines, enabling them to achieve the highest expression of their terroir.
The first vines at Corps de Loup date back to the early ninth century, and over the years the estate has been the residence of famous people and ministers.
The terraced layout of the land has always required manual work in the vineyards, resulting in a profound respect for the environment.
