Le Cul-du-Loup (Rhône Valley)
The Cul-du-Loup, the French often say that to evoke a lost village far far away! But where is it actually? Well, we found it! It is in Lourmarin in the beautiful region of Luberon in Provence. Surrounded by green oaks, the wine estate has a pebble floor that keeps the heat, the grapes enjoy an optimal sunshine and obtain a beautiful maturity. Left to be abandoned for years, the wine estate is gradually restored by Martine Merlin. With her team, she makes a plot selection on old Grenache and low yielding Syrah vines. The result? Generous wines, typical of the South of France, tasted and approved by the Twil team!
