The Bizard family is the oldest producing family of Savennières (since the 17th century). Neighboring the prestigious vineyards of the Coulée de Serrant, the Château produces mineral and tense wines. The wines are vinified in a church of the 12th century,that's why it was served to Pope John Paul II in 1996 during his trip in France.
