Great wines of Caroline Frey

28th at the last RVF ranking of the 200 wine personalities, Caroline Frey is an oenologist who dared the revolution in family vineyards whose reputation was already on top. At 40, she divides her time between Switzerland (home), Bordeaux (Château La Lagune), Burgundy (Château Corton C) and the Rhône Valley (Paul Jaboulet Aîné).

Her jewel in Hermitage, La Chapelle, is considered as one of the 10 greatest wines in the world. "Evidence" is the fusion between Cabernet Sauvignon from the vines of the second wine of La Lagune (3rd Cru Classé of Bordeaux), and Syrah from the vineyards of Domaine de Thalabert, Crozes-Hermitage of Jaboulet (Rhône).
