La Chatalienne comes from a parcel of Chardonnay grapes averaging 40 years of age. The wine is aged for 11 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
Tasting notes
Appearance
Attractive pale gold color.
Aroma
It excels in aromas of "hedge flowers" such as acacia, hawthorn, honeysuckle, fine elderberry, violet, lemon, white peach and flint. Time brings out honey, quince and dried fruit.
