The winemaker

In 2002, the three winemakers Laurent Combier (Clos des Grives in Crozes-Hermitage), Peter Fischer (Château Revelette in Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence) and Jean Michel Gerin (Domaine Gerin Condrieu and Côte Rotie) decided to create together the Infernal field in Priorat, Spain. The influence of the Mediterranean and it feels fully mixes with the cool mountains of Montsant. The wines are perfectly balanced between freshness and power. The century-old estate vineyards are mainly plants Grenache and Carignan. The floors are only composed of shale and clay which allows the production costs but concentrated wines. The mineral is perfectly expressed in the wines of the house.
