In a few words ...

Saint vérand is a small commune in the beaujolais region.
The regional beaujolais appellation produces red wines from gamay grapes vinified in whole berries, according to the principles of beaujolais vinification, which brings out floral and fruity aromas.
The 1964 vintage was quite good, but very irregular for both red and white grapes, as the capricious weather played on the owners' nerves. We had to choose the right window of opportunity to harvest.
