The story began with Ernest and Julio. The two brothers, with family roots in Piedmont, Italy, founded their winery in California with little more than a love of wine and a great deal of determination.
Today, fifteen members of the Gallo family are still directly involved in the winery. The third generation has helped produce many award-winning wines by cultivating grapes and crafting wine with the same values and small-cellar philosophy their grandfathers started with. Why not taste for yourself the family passion that has disappeared into the wines.
