The winemaker

This 80-hectare estate, founded in 1978, is where Gary Andrus planted the terraced vineyard on a hillside in the Stags Leap sub-region of eastern Napa Valley. Today, the estate has acquired exceptional vineyards in all five Napa zones: Stags Leap District, Rutherford, Carneros, Howell Mountain and Oakville. This diversity allows oenologist Michael Beaulac many blending options, to create fine, elegant and balanced wines with a true expression of origin.
