In a few words ...
The Grand Cru Vaudésir parcel is harvested by hand, as are all our 1ers Crus and Grands Crus. We generally start the harvest with our Grands Crus because their grapes ripen earlier thanks to ideal exposure to the sun. Since the 2014 vintage, Louis Moreau has decided to vinify and age our Grand Cru Vaudésir in stainless steel tanks, on fine lees with as little intervention as possible, as this Grand Cru develops a natural power and fullness that stands on its own. Situated between Grand Cru Valmur and Les Preuses, Grand Cru Vaudésir is a very homogeneous wine which, when young, may appear austere, fine and floral, but which will develop, with age, a beautiful round and powerful structure.
