Domaine Marquis d'Angerville owns 4 hectares in the "Champans" appellation, in two parcels that stretch from top to bottom of the Champans climat and hillside, taking advantage of all the characteristics of this remarkable southeast-facing terroir, located at the center of Volnay's Premiers Crus. The soil rests on a rocky limestone bed at the top of the hillside, while the slope decreases towards the bottom and becomes redder and deeper.
