One of terlato and chapoutier's two great vintages. 100% shiraz on a soil composed of siltstone, layers of red and yellow podzol and quartz. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Intense, deep color with hints of violet. Nose: aromas of liquorice and black fruits with hints of Jamaican pepper. Palate: rich and flavorful, with notes of dark chocolate, blackberries and spices. Good length with fine, persistent tannins.
