The winemaker

La Distillerie du Rhône is the brainchild of two friends, Ludovic Perron and Alexis Bessaud. A sommelier and a wine and spirits enthusiast, both tasters and particularly fond of gin. They decided to join forces and embark on the creation of a gin, a cuvée that will help people rediscover the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Ludovic and Alexis met in 2014, on their doorstep, they were neighbors! After a few twists and turns, parties and tastings, they soon discovered they were made for each other, and became best friends. Ludovic shared his passion for his job as a sommelier, and Alexis was very receptive and curious to the explanations and tastings.
