In a few words ...

As in all northern regions, Pouilly-Fumé showed a very marked vintage effect in 2015. These particular climatic conditions favored a "sunny" vintage that produced very generous aromas. The campaign began with a mild winter (among the coldest in a hundred years), followed by a fairly cool spring. Above-average winter rainfall until the end of February helped build up very good water reserves in the soil, which proved particularly useful in the following months. The summer was marked by above-average temperatures. In this dry environment, diseases and pests were naturally suppressed. From early September, temperatures returned to normal, with more regular rainfall. Cool nights preserved maximum fleshiness and acidity. Harvesting began on September 3 and ended on the 22nd. Once again at Tracy, we opted for an earlier harvest. Indeed, such a summer gave us a lot of aromatic generosity, so the challenge was to capitalize on as much freshness as possible, to help the Sauvignon unveil its complex yet delicate and refined profiles.
