In a few words ...
One of Pomerol's largest estates, it stands out for its classic, straightforward style. Recent vintages have tended towards suavity.
"Behind its intense Bordeaux color, this 2007 expresses very ripe fruit (prune) in a discreetly woody atmosphere. These impressions are echoed on the palate, with plenty of vinosity and powerful tannins that call for several years' cellaring."

Appearance
The Pomerol's dress is most often dark ruby and purple hues in its youth and an appearance of brick hues with aging.
Aroma
The bouquet is often very rich and complex with notes of black and red fruits. Also note the presence of empyreumatic with leather, roasting and a vanilla tip.

Taste
The tannins of the Pomerols are rather robust, we will wait a certain maturity to find a perfectly balanced wine. Note the presence of ripe black fruits including blackcurrant, and sometimes truffle.
