This wine comes from Chardonnay vines located in southern Burgundy, in the village of Corcelles. The soil is a mixture of clay and limestone deposits. The vines face north-northwest, enabling slow ripening and acidity retention. The grapes are carefully picked by hand, transported in crates, and immediately pressed. The juices are strictly selected before temperature-controlled fermentation begins. The wine is matured for 12 months using the traditional Champagne method. Crémant Piron is very lightly dosed at bottling. It can be considered a "brut de brut".
