In a few words ...
Situated due south above Turckheim, the name Brand means "fire" or "burning". "A generously structured, almost unctuous wine. On the nose, aromas of lychee, rose and ginger precede an ample, rich and greedy palate, light thanks to the bitterness typical of the terroir. It's not a dry wine, but it's not a dessert wine either. Instead, it's a prodigious Gewurztraminer to be enjoyed on its own or with paté or cheese". (Decanter)
